Description | Job Title: Hawker 800XP Captain – Part 135 Operations Job Overview: Join a dedicated team of aviation professionals providing critical organ procurement flights under Part 135 operations. As a Hawker 800XP Captain, you will play a vital role in life-saving missions while enjoying a predictable schedule and competitive benefits. Salary - ($150,000-$185,000) Key Responsibilities: • Safely and efficiently operate the Hawker 800XP in accordance with FAA regulations, company policies, and mission requirements. • Conduct pre-flight planning, including reviewing weather conditions, weight and balance calculations, and flight routing. • Lead and manage a professional flight crew while fostering a culture of safety and teamwork. • Ensure compliance with operational guidelines for organ procurement missions, including time-sensitive procedures. • Coordinate with dispatch, medical teams, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless mission execution. • Maintain aircraft currency and participate in training programs as required. Qualifications: • Required: o FAA ATP certificate. o Minimum of 3,000 total flight hours. o Minimum of 1,500 PIC hours. o 500 hours multi-engine turbine time. o Current 1st Class Medical Certificate. o Experience in Part 135 operations. o Strong leadership and communication skills. o Ability to manage time-sensitive and high-pressure missions effectively. • Preferred: o HS-125 type rating (willing to type the right candidate). o Previous experience with organ procurement operations. o Familiarity with operating in diverse weather and airspace environments. Schedule & Bases: • 10 days off per month. • Possible bases: KTEB (Teterboro, NJ), KMSN (Madison, WI) and KBED (Bedford, MA). • Relocation preferred to within 1 hour of the base; home-based arrangements may be considered for exceptional candidates.
