Position Summary
CJ Drilling, Inc. is seeking an accomplished and motivated aviation professional to join our team as Chief Pilot for our Part 91 flight department. This key leadership role combines technical expertise with management responsibilities to ensure safe, efficient, and professional operations. With an annual flight schedule of approximately 200 hours, operations will be primarily domestic.

Key Responsibilities

    Safely operate the Hawker 900XP in compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.Oversee all aspects of the flight department, including trip planning, crew scheduling, maintenance coordination, and regulatory compliance.Serve as the primary liaison with company leadership to align flight operations with organizational goals.Deliver exceptional passenger experiences, emphasizing safety, comfort, and professionalism.Establish and promote a culture of safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.Maintain meticulous records for aircraft operations, training, and regulatory compliance.
Minimum Requirements
  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with a type rating for the Hawker 900XP.
  • Minimum of 4,000 total flight hours, including 1,500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in turbine-powered aircraft.
  • Ability to obtain a valid FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership or management role within a flight department or aviation operation.
  • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, aviation safety protocols, and operational best practices.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to delivering VIP-level service and ensuring the highest standards of safety and reliability.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
  • Desired candidate should be based within 2 hours of KARR
