Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach curricula in accordance with FAA FAR part 107 guidelinesAssist in drone upkeep
Exceptional ability in assessing and evaluating students and adapting coaching techniques to obtain the desired results
Exceptional communication skills in presenting information in group settings, and one-on-one
Conduct classroom instruction and range (flying) coaching
Complete course administrative paperwork utilizing both electronic and physical means
Maintain appropriate course documentation
Maintain clean facilities
Ability to stand for lengths of time on hot, wet, or cold pavement and under direct sunlight throughout the day
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and move drones
Ability to learn procedures, policies, and practices and apply them appropriately in all situations
Ability to take the necessary and additional drone courses and instructor training, pass written and skills evaluations, and other assessments as required to keep drone certifications ... Continue Reading
Candidate must have the ability to correctly and safely demonstrate the full range of necessary skills as outlined in the course including but not limited to, flight program and safety documentation; personalized flight binder, basic hands-on flight; application-based coursework based on industry needs and uses; and drone set up.
Drone settings, Risk mitigation, Pre-flight checklist, Hands-on operations, Close quarters flight, Scenario based flights, Flight model , Flight with multiple autonomous flight programs, 2D & 3D mapping.
The course requires physical stamina, motor coordination and alertness.
Instructor candidates must be capable of sustained physical exertion for a minimum of four hours each instructional day. Instructor candidates should expect to spend from 4 to 9 hours each day (depending on the number of classes offered) with short breaks provided.
