Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:\
Pilot and navigate the flight for the MH-60R helicopter.
Assist designated Pilots with all portions of maintenance functional check flights, including preflight briefing, preflight, flight checks, post flight and all required documentation.
Coordinate with maintenance contractors for in-flight troubleshootingdiscrepancies, and verifications of maintenance actions or repairs, by conducting ground and flight checks.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Designation as a Helicopter Aircraft Commander (HAC).
Past designation as a MH-60R OR MH-60S Functional/Maintenance Check Pilot is required; current designation is desired. Current or previous designation as an instructor is desired.
Able to perform all duties independently.
A minimum of 550 total flight hours, 50 Helicopter Aircraft Commander (HAC) hours in the MH-60R OR MH-60S, and 100 hours of MH-60R OR MH-60S FCF/Maintenance test fly is required.
