Provides T-44A/C aircraft systems/operational procedures instruction; classroom and simulator aviation instruction and/or practical environments training. Assist as Subject Matter Expert, as required. May provide additional services such as courseware review and other additional administrative and/or collateral duties such as publications, safety, quality audits, FCIF, scheduling, and other duties.
Provides Pilot procedures instruction in classroom and simulator environments.
May assist with the development and updates of training devices.
Assists as a Subject Matter Expert in the development of curriculum for new type courses, and review of existing lessons and/or changes to existing lessons.
Provides suggestions to improve and update training policies and procedures.
Promotes a positive attitude towards learning and embracing new technologies and tasks.
Performs diagnosis and remediation of student performance issues.
Assists in project and development work as assigned.
Performs administrative duties such as student record keeping, monitoring student progress, counseling, quality assurance, safety, and security.
Must be physically able to enter simulator, and take cognizance of student’s safety when on board the simulator.
Must maintain proficiency in operation of Aircrew Training Devices.
Aviation instruction is a highly specialized function that requires the instructor to have prior aircraft operating experience and the ability to hold creditability and the attention of the customer attendees.
Must acquire and maintain proficiency in all areas of instruction, to such a level as to be able to pass standardization checks, classroom evaluations, etc.

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning
FAA flight instructor certificate with Airplane Multi-Engine and Instrument-Airplane ratings
Have a minimum of 1,000 hours of flight time, knowledge of the company rules and regulations governing aircraft operations and use of company forms and documents for aircraft instrument flight operations
Have a working knowledge of each phase of the company flight training and courseware curricula utilized in the company to which assigned
Have a working knowledge of the administrator functions associated with the courseware presentation programs outlined in the Company Training System Utilization Handbook
Be capable of inducting new students into the system, purging old students, generating performance reports, and fielding random queries regarding student’s progress and performance.
Strong facilitation, and data analysis skills required
Ability to participate in periodic aircraft familiarization flights.
Must acquire and maintain proficiency in emergency procedures.
Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Will be required to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and complaints.
Must be able to generate effective oral and written presentations and proposals on complex subjects.
Must be able to calculate figures and amounts, prices, commissions, and percentages, and to draw and interpret graphs.
Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work overtime as required.
Domestic and international travel as required.
Must be willing to work any shift or day of the week as required.
Be subject to a US Government investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements to obtain/maintain the required level of security clearance
Preferred Skills
An ability to interpret complex customer requirements and attitudes from verbal, non-verbal, and written communication is desirable.
