• The instructor is expected to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and assist in creating, maintaining and sharing an outline/syllabus for the course(s).

• Provide information requested of all faculty.

Associate’s degree or higher in related teaching field.
A current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification
At least 3 years of non-teaching work experience in the field
Knowledge and skills including: flight controls, aerodynamics, thoroughunderstanding of the National Airspace System (NAS), aviation weather, aviation safety, ethical airmanship, FAA Registration, and community-based safety guidelines.
Effective oral and written communication skills
Preferred Experience and Training
Minimum of 50 hours of logged Commercial flight time as Pilot In Command (PIC) under Part 107
One or more years of experience in sUAS training
Curriculum design in an adult learning environment
Additional FAA certificates and/or ratings that would lead to the competenciesrequired for the successful performance of the position’s essential duties
