Float Pilots will be assigned a regular scheduled hitch and be expected to assist in covering open shifts in assigned region.
If there are no bases with open shifts during a Float Pilot's regular scheduled hitch, the Float Pilot will be expected to perform duties that include but are not limited to aircraft moves, maintenance flights, administrative requirements, etc.
Float Pilots who successfully complete a minimum of 6 months of float duties will take priority in a
permanent assignment at a base of their choosing once a position becomes available at that base.
$15,000 float stipend
