Job Description

What You'll Do:
Maintaining all necessary aircraft currencies and pilot documents required for safe and legal flight operations.
Checking weather, all applicable NOTAMs where available, and determining fuel, oil, and any maintenance discrepancies.
Completing an aircraft preflight inspection per the aircraft flight manual before each departure.
Determining aircraft weight and balance.
Performance analysis for the required airports and heliports.
Ensuring that all flight planning requirements have been met.
Operating the aircraft in accordance with operator procedures and aircraft limitations.
Ensuring that a flight will not be continued beyond the nearest suitable airport if any flight crew member or passenger appears to be affected by injury, sickness, fatigue, the effects of any psychoactive substance, or other applicable event. ... Continue Reading

Minimum Requirements

What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Class 1 medical
Commercial Instrument with ATP
CFI/CFII preferred (Certified Flight Instructor/Instrument)
Final authority for the operation of the aircraft assigned.
Responsible for safe and efficient transport of passengers and crew.
Authority to delay, cancel or discontinue a flight when conditions are unsuitable for the conduct or continuation of the flight.
Authority to indicate a change in the planned flight during the flight when such a change is appropriate for the safe operation of the aircraft.
Northeast, specifically NYC flight operations experience.
AW 139 type rating
Extensive Helicopter IFR experience.
