Job Description

Base of operations is the Cooper Basin, Moomba Airport.
Company arranged direct flights are available from Brisbane and Adelaide.
Operate EC135P2+ helicopter under the VFR, IFR and NVIS conditions as Captain
Typical roster periods of 15 days on 13 days off
Self-manage daily duties and rest periods to maintain a 24 hour standby roster in accordance with CAO 48.1 Helicopters FRMS
Implement, review, update and contribute to company SOP’s to facilitate continuous improvement of the operation
Actively participate in the Safety Management System
Conduct secondary duties as allocated by the Base Manager or Contract Manager from time to time

Minimum Requirements

Skills and Experience
Preference will be given to candidates who meet IOGP 590 minimum requirements
EC135 Type Rating or experience on similar complexity aircraft
Total hours helicopter experience: 2000 hours
Total hours in command helicopters: 1000

Multi engine experience: 500 PIC
Hours on EC135: 100
NVIS rating (preferred however training can be provided to the right applicant)Instrument Rating with MEH endorsement ... Continue Reading
