MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (not all inclusive):
Safely operate the aircraft, determine departure times and routes and/or cancel flights based on weather or, other conditions
Ensure flight compliance with all federal, state, local and foreign country regulations and laws as well as, all Company policies and proceduresInstitute all necessary flight changes required by in-route conditionsResponsible for safe and practical flight operation, in accordance with industry and Company standards
Accurate completion of all flight paperwork, in accordance with Company procedures
Maintain a complete working knowledge of all aircraft systems, to include emergency systems and procedures associated with the aircraft and safe flight operations
Obtain the most current weather reports, forecasts and NOTAMS from appropriate agency resources
Familiarity with Company’s dispatch procedures for routing, flight plan filing and fuel planning/fuel releases
Ensure appropriate reservations and/or confirmations for principal’s and passenger’s travel needs to include but not limited to:
transportation, crew hotels, crew rental cars, parking availability at destination FBO for RON as well as, hangarage and other pertinent out of base accommodations
Analyze trip for appropriate/suitable alternate airport possibilities for backup landing destinations
Actively share and report all safety issues, safety hazards and concerns to the Chief Pilot
Oversee the crew’s professional communication as it relates to the principals and passengers aboard the Company aircraft ensuring discretion, integrity and sensitivity
Utilize Word, Excel & PowerPoint relative to administrative duties / creation of Flight Department documents and manuals

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate
Maintain an FAA First Class Medical
GVII type rating
Minimum 4000 hours Total Fixed Wing
Minimum 2000 hours PIC
Minimum 1500 hours Turbojet
Corporate Aviation Experience - preferred
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Must be able to work flexible schedules
Majority of flights are domestic U.S. but must be able to work internationally when required.
Must live within 1 hour drive time of Charlotte Douglas International Airport, or be willing to relocate
Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license
