Responsible for the safe conduct of flights to which assigned, regardless of the station occupied in the aircraft.
Assures trip is conducted so as to best serve the needs of the passengers being transported.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Serves as Pilot-in-Command/Second-in-Command, has full control of the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft and the conduct of the crew members.
May be assigned to perform other duties related to the general activities of the department, whenever not engaged in a flight operation.
Must possess proper certificates and authorization prior to assignment as Captain/Pilot-in-Command of a flight.
These employees fly the aircraft and are responsible for the flight.
Serves as pilot-in-command majority of time.
