Responsibilities
Perform flight instruction, pre-flight planning and briefing, ground and flight lessons, post-flight debriefs, analysis and reporting
Complete classroom, simulator and flight training for pilots
Explain complex concepts simply and clearly
Contribute to internal flight safety and standardization discussions
Perform miscellaneous engineering and administrative duties as tasked
Update and maintain all required training documentation Observe all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company

Qualifications
Associate degree, or equivalent experience
FAA Certified Flight Instructor, Ground Instructor, or equivalent aviation training experience
Meet the physical requirements to pilot aircraft
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong customer service mindset
Strong knowledge of aviation and safety training
Ability to work on flexible schedules and travel to sites around California and potentially out of state
Strong attention to detail and safety-oriented mindset
Able to write in a clear and concise manner
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to digitize training
Gold Seal Flight Instructor
Current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate
200 hours instructor time
Rotorcraft, airplane, and multicopter experience
Experience with novel air platforms including f and UAS systems
