Key Responsibilities
Perform pre-flight inspections of aircraft and systems to ensure safety.Operate the aircraft safely and maintain a high degree of professionalism at all times.
Monitor weather conditions and communicate with air traffic control during flights.Liaise with First Officers and flight crew throughout the flight.
Liaise with Dispatch and review flight plans prior to takeoff and in accordance with Transport Canada regulations.
Anticipating issues and maintaining the commercial schedule.
Notify crew and passengers promptly of turbulence, adverse weather conditions, or any other operational factors affecting the flight.
Maintain required communication with maintenance, SOCC, and dispatch personnel when conducting flights.
Keeping up to date with aircraft advancements and equipment.
File reports of the flight trip and the status of the aircraft after landing.
Provide the Chief Pilot with any updated information regarding the safety of the flight.

Minimum Qualifications
Must have a minimum of 5,000 hours total time (fixed-wing).
500+ PIC hours on jet aircraft above 75 000 pounds, or 1000+ hours on B737NG/MAX (B73C)/similar type.
Must be able to travel unrestricted to and from the United States.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC).
Valid Transport Canada Airline Transport Pilot’s License (ATPL).
Valid Category 1 Medical.
Must have English and/or French language proficiency.
