Seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Pilot to lead the flight operations team. This role reports directly to the SVP, Flight Operations / DO and is responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient flight operations. The Chief Pilot will oversee pilot training, operational policies, and regulatory compliance while maintaining strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Miami—remote work is not available.
Ensure flight operations comply with all applicable FAA regulations and company policies.
Oversee pilot hiring, training, and standardization of flight procedures.
Serve as a primary liaison with regulatory agencies, including the FAA.
Report and follow up on safety incidents, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
Develop and maintain flight standards and operational procedures.
Participate in route planning and fleet expansion initiatives.
Maintain pilot currency by flying at least three sequences or landings per month.

FAA-issued Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with type rating for at least one aircraft operated by the company .
If first-time Chief Pilot: Minimum 3 years’ experience in the past 6 years as PIC of a large aircraft under Part 121 or Part 135 operations.
If previously a Chief Pilot: Minimum 3 years’ experience as PIC of a large aircraft under Part 121 or Part 135 operations.
Must be a current and qualified Captain with no training failures.
Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, CFRs, and ability to interpret and write operational procedures.
Excellent leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
