As the Chief Flight Instructor you’ll be responsible for:
The supervision of flight and flight simulation training instructors
The standardisation of all flight instruction and flight simulation instruction
The maintenance of the highest standards of safety, under the direction of the company.
Maintenance of the currency of personal licenses and ratings, including medical fitness in order to conduct the assigned duties. In particular for ensuring that any approvals granted by the company are valid before conducting any training which require to exercise the privileges of that approval
Advising the the company on all flying training matters as required
The preparation of all simulator course syllabi to comply with UK CAA Air Crew Regulations
Monitoring the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in use and for recommending revisions to SOPs to the company as necessary
Preparation of Flight Test schedules as required
Liaison with the Head of Operations, Safety & Compliance on matters concerning the Compliance Schedule

Hold a valid UK CAA ATPL and a TRI/SFI.
