SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:Support the Chief Pilot to ensure the delivery of ‘best in class’ pilot/crew services to Managed Clients, and foster a culture that attracts, retains,engages and drives exceptional performance and service;
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure daily flight operations comply with Transport Canada regulations, Company policies, and operational standards.
Operational Support: Address and resolve flight operations issues, providing daily support to pilots.
Hiring and Training: Assist in hiring and interviewing pilots on behalf of managed clients.
Maintain Qualifications: Maintain currency and qualification on at least one fleet aircraft type.
Line Check Pilot: Act as a Line Check Pilot to evaluate, mentor, and qualify pilots.Ensure the prevention and investigation of all pilot/crew related occurrence reports including actioning and follow-up;
Promote a Safety-First Culture: Uphold and advocate for safety in all aspects of flight operations.
Work closely with the Director, Flight Operations and other leaders to develop short and long term plans to support the growth of the business;
Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with departments such as Safety, Maintenance, Airport Operations, Operations Center, and Administration.
Administrative Duties: Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the Chief Pilot.
Operational Control: Exercise limited operational control as delegated by the Director of Operations.
Supervisory Flying: Conduct line supervisory flights to ensure pilot professionalism and standards.
Community Engagement: Represent in government, industry, and community activities related to flight operations.
Process Improvement: Encourage process improvements and error reporting from employees.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Experience: Previous corporate environment experience, Canadian ATPL and Medical, and experience meeting or exceeding hiring minimums.
Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of Transport Canada requirements for 604, 703, and 704 training requirements.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with the Pelesys platform, Webmanual, and FOS.Microsoft Office: High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Leadership: Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
