Job Duties:
Supervise flight training activities and monitor flight instructor performance.
Assist with the development and improvement of flight training curriculum.
Perform stage checks, end-of-course tests, and flight instructor proficiency checks, and ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).Observe and evaluate flight students' performance.
Supervise students' use of equipment, including simulators and aircraft.
Present lectures and conduct discussions to increase students' knowledge.
Assist in verifying the citizenship of students and maintenance of Transportation Security Administration (TSA) training documentation compliance.
Assist in conducting initial and annual recurrent standardization of flight instructors and developing and implementing standardized teaching techniques and procedures.
Participate in recruitment, interviews, and recommendations of prospective flight instructors, interview prospective students and parents, and monitor the progress of students and student training records. ... Continue Reading
