Essential Duties:
The instructor is expected to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and assist in creating, maintaining and sharing an outline/syllabus for the course.
The instructor must effectively demonstrate course content and knowledge of related activities.
The instructor will be responsible for adhering to desired student learning outcomes and teaching the content designed to convey craft skills acquisition in those outcomes.

Required Qualifications:
Current FAA Remote Pilot Certificate as outlined in Part 107Knowledge and skills including: flight controls, aerodynamics, thorough understand of the National Airspace System (NAS), aviation weather, aviation safety, ethical airmanship, FAA Registration, and community-based safety guidelines.
Training experience working with adult learners
Information technology literacy skills
Effective oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in related field
Minimum of one-year experience with at least 50 hours of logged Commercial flight time as Pilot In Command (PIC) under Part 107
One or more years of experience in sUAS training and flight at a community college
Curriculum design in an adult learning environment
Direct experience in the aviation/aerospace industry or military experience
Additional FAA certificates and/or ratings that would lead to the competencies required for the successful performance of the position's essential duties ... Continue Reading
