Duties/Responsibilities:
Acts as Instructor Pilot for MQ-9s in support of customer requirements.(Pilot III) Serve as the individual receiving priorities and tasking the team to complete the priorities.
(Pilot III) Responsible for communicating any feedback or requirements back to the Squadron Operations Officer (OPSO) and/or COR for the overall completion of work.

Education, Experience and Certifications Required:
Minimum:
BA/BS from accredited college or universityNo less than 10 years as a Group 5 Pilot or No less than 5 years as Group 5 Pilot II
No less than 550 Pilot in Command (PIC) hours in MQ-9 aircraft (up to 50% of that MQ-9 flight time can be conducted in simulator) and no less than 25 hours of MQ-9 instructor time.
Must be qualified Mission Command Element (MCE) and Launch and Recovery Element (LRE) trained.
Candidate shall be familiar with MCE and LRE instruction and able to teach students in both areas.
Candidate may meet both Pilot and Sensor Operator Aircrew requirements, however no Contractor Instructor shall serve as pilot and sensor operator during a single flight or simulator event.
Valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) First or Second-Class Airman Medical Certificate, or a current DD Form 2992 at the GFR’s discretion, reflecting the individual is medically cleared for flight duty.
Maintain a DoD Security Clearance is required.Preferred:
