In the role of Ministry Pilot, you will have the opportunity to:
Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
Maintain expert knowledge of assigned aircraft, Approved Flight Manual (AFM), aviation regulations, policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of readiness and professional skill as a pilot. Perform pilot duties as needed or assigned
Must be able to plan both domestic and complex international trips with the assistance of an international trip planning service
Perform pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checks to ensure safe flight operationsGreet passengers and load and unload all passenger's luggage and cargoComplete flight logs and passenger manifests for each flight in a timely mannerMaintain electronic charts, databases, iPads, documents, etc. in current and orderly manner
Work with Purse mechanics and contracted maintenance personnel to identify and resolve any maintenance discrepancies (Ministry Pilots are not authorized to conduct aircraft maintenance)
Maintain the aircraft in a clean and organized fashion when at home and away from base

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent of education and experience
GV type rating and minimum of 5,000 total flight hours with 1,000 hours in type (current or recent)
Must be able to act as PIC in the G550 aircraft
International experience required
FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with the appropriate AMEL ratingFlight instructor certificate with multiengine and instrument airplane ratings preferred
Valid FAA First Class Aviation Medical Certificate, FCC Restricted Radio Permit, current US Passport
Currency must be maintained in all assigned aircraft as provided by the ministry12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not alreadycompleted, opportunity to meet and complete requirement is available upon hireMust be willing to relocate to a commutable distance to the Wilkes County Airport ...
