Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must possess an earned Bachelor's degree at time of hire, or completed within one year of hire, in aviation and transportation technology or related field; must have at least 500 hours of total flight time and 200 hours of dual instruction given, or equivalent teaching experience and/or relevant industry experience; must have demonstrated ability to teach, manage a classroom and course; applicants must possess a current FAA issued Flight Instructor Certificate with an instrument rating (CFII), Multi engine instructor rating is preferred, and at least a third class medical.
An instructor who meets the flight time qualifications of FAA CFR 141.36(d) is preferred.
