Job Description

Responsibilities:
Flight and Ground Training: Conduct flight and ground instruction in helicopters (R22, R44, R66).
Student Assessment: Evaluate student performance during flight and ground training, provide constructive feedback and develop personalized training plans as needed.
Safety Management: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures during training flights, ensuring a safety-first approach in all activities.
Curriculum Delivery: Deliver training according to the established curriculum, maintaining high standards of instruction and professionalism.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate training records, student progress reports, and compliance documentation in accordance with company policies and FAA regulations.
Professional Development: Stay current with the latest industry trends, regulations, and helicopter operational standards to enhance instructional effectiveness.
Collaboration: Work closely with other instructors and staff to promote a cohesive training environment and assist in the development of training programs. ... Continue Reading

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
Total Flight Time: Minimum of 2000 hours total time in helicopters.
Instructional Experience: At least 1000 hours of flight instruction given, with a minimum of 800 hours in helicopter models (R22, R44, R66).
Certifications:
Commercial Certificate
FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and CFII for helicopters.
SFAR 73 Instructor endorsement for the R22 and R44.
Current Flight Review endorsement for the R22 and R44.
Current FAA 1st or 2nd class medical certificate.
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of FAA regulations, including Part 61, Part 91, and Part 135 operations.
