The Instructor employs effective teaching practices to ensure that all students are equipped for success.

QUALIFICATIONS
Licensure/certification through the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) or ability to obtain proper licensure.
Applicants must meet ONE OF THE FOLLOWING requirements to be considered for this position:
Current ODE licensure in an Aviation, Transportation, or Engineering area; ORWork experience and/or educational attainment as outlined below in addition to willingness and ability to complete Ohio’s alternative teacher licensure process:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in the content area and 2 years of relevant work experience; OR
Bachelor’s or master’s degree outside the content area and 5 years of relevant work experience; OR
Associate’s Degree or 60 semester hours in subject area and 3 years of related work experience
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification in primary area of training are a plus;
Previous teaching experience in academic environment and/or on-line teaching preferred;
Ability to interact successfully with academic as well as business and regulatory stakeholders;
Willingness/ability to work with students, teachers and administrators as a team member;
Effective and demonstrated problem solving, critica thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, and organizational skills;
State-issued identification card with photograph;
