Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree, Current CFI-A/CFI-A, Current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate, and no history of FAA certificate enforcement action.
Required to meet all federal requirements for designation as a Chief Instructor under 14 CFR Part 141.35.
Hold the following certificates and ratings. Commercial Pilot Airplane- Single-Engine-Land or ATP, Flight Instructor Airplane-Single-Engine and Instrument-Airplane.
Candidate must work well under pressure and must be able to adapt to constantly changing conditions. Additionally, candidate must have the ability to multi-task, collect information, analyze data, define challenges, set priorities, and draw valid conclusions in a timely manner. Candidate must be able to work varied hours during on and off campus events.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in aviation related field
Current AGI/IGI/MEI
Prior experience as a 14 CFR Part 141 flight instructor and experience with collegiate aviation accreditation through Aviation Accreditation Board International.
Operational experience with a collegiate aviation program.
