The CFI is responsible for ensuring line instructors are training to the required standard, and ensuring recurrent and remedial training is targeted to maintain the highest achievable standards.
Overview of role and responsibilities
Manage assigned program to insure maximum client throughput and revenue capture.
Ensure training records and regulatory paperwork issues are managed and processed in a timely and accurate manner.
Support program scheduler to insure the balanced and effective scheduling of instructors to fulfill client requirements.
Ensure adherence to processes as relevant.
Act as point of contact with local technical personnel to ensure that training devices remain fit for the published curricula.
Coordinate with Sales department as appropriate.
Manage the training qualifications and currency of assigned instructors to ensure maximum instructor availability and currency.
Conduct simulator and classroom assessments of instructor competence and performance.
Develop staffing recommendations.
Be responsible for instructor standardization within the assigned fleet.
Arrange instructor meetings training as required.
Support course preparation and availability of course documentation before customer course start date.
Support the creation of training curricula and courseware as required.

Hold an EASA & UK CAA ATPL licence and associated ratings or certificates issued in accordance with Part FCL, related to the company flight training courses
SFI/MPL-I privileges
Hold or have held an EASA FCL FE, CAA UK FCL FE and other NAA approvals along with examiner certificate
Extensive experience in training cadets for professional pilot licenses and experience of Multi Crew Cooperation
Background in delivering or managing Instructor training along with extensive managerial experience along with experience of providing customer service with a proven record of success
Experience of regulatory requirements for all courses as stipulated on the company certificate
Previous experience of first-hand interaction with Regulatory Authorities
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Results oriented with an ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Willingness to work flexible hours including public holidays and weekends
