Perform tasks as directed by the Chief Pilot from time to time;
Conduct proficiency tests in the execution of emergency procedures and issuing certificates of proficiency as required in respect of aircraft for which the Chief Pilot does not hold the applicable endorsement;
Where the Chief Pilot does not hold a particular qualification be responsible for the following matters insofar as they relate to the operations and/or aircraft for which the Chief Pilot does not hold the qualification:
Ensuring that air operations are conducted in compliance with current CASA Regulations;
Ensuring compliance with loading procedures specified for each aircraft type and proper compilation of loading documents, including passenger and cargo manifests;
Monitoring operational standards, maintaining training records and supervising the training and checking of flight crew;
Allocating appropriate aircraft;
Efficient operation of aircraft;
Ensuring that operations are in compliance with the terms and conditions of the aviation insurance policies;
