Job Description

Seeking a highly skilled pilot to serve as a Captain and Pilot in Command conducting flight operations in a small department operating one to two aircraft. The ideal candidate will possess substantial light operations experience domestic and international, a strong understanding of Part 91 regulations, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and eciency. Preference will be given to candidates with a G280 type rating and international flight experience.
Benefits
Starting salary $165-185K depending on experience. Scheduled paid time off, comprehensive benefits package, and severance package included. Relocation expenses reimbursed up to $15K.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by an individual assigned to this job. Other duties may be assigned.
Reports to the Chief Pilot.
Exercises final authority for the safe operation of the aircraft.
Directs the activities of crew members in a manner that promotes maximum safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of operations.
Discusses airport suitability and other preflight planning issues with the Chief Pilot.
Provides aviation expertise in planning a safe and effective trip.
Ascertains that the crew is ready, qualified, and adequately rested.
Determines that aeronautical charts are current and complete for the itinerary to be flown.
Ensures that weather and applicable NOTAMS are evaluated before departure and while airborne to determine whether the flight can be completed safely, efficiently, and 14 CFR compliant.
Determines that the aircraft has been sufficiently fueled and serviced before flight and that fuel is available at the destination.
Arranges for the filing of a flight plan.
Makes decisions necessary to start, delay, or cancel flights and deviate the flight from the planned route or destination when operating conditions dictate.
Reviews the aircraft records to ensure that the aircraft is airworthy and inspects carry-over items
Confirms that an aircraft preflight inspection has been completed and, if the aircraft has been unattended, ensures that it has not been tampered with.
Ensures that passenger briefings are accomplished in accordance with 14 CFR.
Ensures that aircraft performance meets the company and 14 CFR requirements.
Exercises operational control while acting as PIC.
Uses appropriate checklists.
Supervises the first officer (SIC) in any duties necessary for the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the aircraft.
Reviews, updates and maintains the currency of his/her pilot record to include the documentation of training and testing.
Ensures that the aircraft is clean and prepared for flight with all provisions on board for the safety and comfort of the passengers.

Minimum Requirements

2500 hours total time, 1500 hours multi-engine, 700 hours turbojet or turbofan preferred.
FAA First Class Medical.
Possess a valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certicate.
Type rating in a jet.
Valid passport.
Restricted Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.
Substantial experience as a corporate pilot.
In-depth knowledge of Part 91 regulations and their application.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic and customer-centric environment.
Bachelor’s degree in aviation or related eld (preferred).
Must be able to meet the following checks:
Pre-employment drug screening.
PRIA background check (to include any incidents/accidents).
Credit check.
No accidents or Incidents.
Resides or willing to relocate to within a 1-hour driving distance of Vernal, UT.
