Job Description

Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the flight training program while ensuring compliance with all aviation regulations and standards.
Develop and implement training curriculum and materials.
Supervise and mentor flight instructors.
Conduct flight training and evaluations, monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback and guidance to students and instructors.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient training operations.
Maintain training records and documentation.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements.
Ensure the highest standards of safety and quality and conduct regular training meetings and briefings.
Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures.
Represent the organization at industry events and conferences, and collaborate with regulatory authorities as needed.
Manage training schedules and resources and address and resolve any training-related issues or concerns.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure a positive and supportive training environment.

Minimum Requirements

Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree.
Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) rating.
Minimum of 2 years of flight instruction experience, a proven track record of success in the field and experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
Extensive knowledge of aviation regulations and standards, proficiency in using flight training software and tools, with the ability to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
Strong leadership and management skills; organizational and time management skills; problem solving and decision making skills; with the ability to inspire and motive others and work collaboratively with other departments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to develop and implement training programs, and conduct flight training and evaluations.
Flexibility to work varied hours as needed and ability to travel as required.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
