FUNCTIONS:
Participate in flight preparation.
The technical status of the aircraft is reported before the flight.
Calculate the takeoff date and cross-check the flight plan calculations and weight and balance documentation.
Ensure that the fuel ordered and the fuel on board are identical in quantity, and equal to or greater than the minimum specified in the operational flight plan.
Perform the pre-flight of the plane.
Assists the captain in the administration of the flight and informs him of any event that affects the safety of the flight.
Take the operational flight plan and complete its parts.
Assists the commander in monitoring radio communications and maintaining external visual surveillance.
Fill out the flight documentation. Example: Operational flight plan and reports.
Close the airplane's technical books and organize the technical manuals that are part of the airplane's library for the use of the next flight crew.
Assists the commander in handing over the aircraft to the next crew or maintenance personnel by transmitting relevant information on technical aspects.Deliver the aircraft technical books to authorized maintenance personnel and to flight dispatch the folder with flight information.
Ensures and complies with Industrial Hygiene and Safety standards.
Complies with and complies with Operational Safety recommendations.
